As Ukraine celebrate 15 years of ministry, Jerry and Lyana Chalk have contacted
PROPHECY to tell us about some of the exciting developments that have taken place

Local church
It keeps getting better and better in our local church!
People are coming to the Lord, new ministries are starting and missionaries are
being sent out every week. We ask you to continue to pray for us. | |

Mission teams project
Many of you who have been following us over the last few months
will remember that God gave us a mighty vision from the passage of Luke 10:1, 2
that we were to send out 500 teams of two throughout the nation of Ukraine over
the next year. The fruit from that has been outstanding. | |

Two New Churches Organized in Northern Ukraine
As we are sending out Mission teams,
churches are being started. In October and November we had two new churches organized
in the Northern Ukrainian Oblast. This year of 2009 this is their fifth church plant.
Please continue to pray for them as they have many more missions or home groups
that are pleading for mission teams and evangelizations.
Something that we haven't
asked for in quite some time is mission teams from America. We need to make it to
hundreds of villages over the next few years and we can't physically do it. We need
help, in the form of mission teams that will come and travel to the smaller cities
and villages for the purpose of establishing churches. If God lays it on your heart

Financial Summary
Similarly to the UK, the financial situation is desperate and
getting worse all the time with 35% of Ukrainians either laid off, wages or working
hours cut. It is almost impossible to find hard currency in the country and the
value of our currency (the Ukraine Hryvnia) has fallen by 80%.
In the midst of all
this, we know that our God is the fire when there is no heat and provider when there
is nothing around you. We are in need of an additional $400 a month to continue
doing the work that God has given us. With new addition to our family and prices
going up, we know that God is about to perform a miracle! Consider the following:
--If 4 people would sow $100 a month we could reach our budget.
--If 10 people would
sow $40 a month we could reach our budget.
--If 20 people would sow $20 a month
we could reach our budget.
