UK 1000 VOICES FOR HAITI |

UK 1000 voices for
Haiti, is a community response to the devastating effects brought about by the January
12 earthquake. This national initiative of songswith
themes that reflect deliverance, hope, perseverance and pain brings together artists,
musicians, worship leaders and choirs from the Faith and Gospel music community.

UK 1000 voices for Haiti, recognises the resilience
of the people of Haiti and their willingness to work for their own renewal and long-term
development.This initiative will provide financial support for the
Haiti Rehabilitation
Education Programme and
RAFFA Haiti Task Group
that is responsible for programme implementation working in partnership
with local relief agencies, church leaders and community panels.The team members
of Haiti Task Group are practitioners and professionals who are donating services
and skills, who have a proven track record of expertise, skills and achievement
within their specialism |

UK 1000 Voices for Haiti are appealing for 1000 individuals
(including established choirs and groups) to form a national Gospel Choir by registering
with the fee of £10.00 |
|
UK 1000 Voices for Haiti event is scheduled to take
place at Riverside Community Church, Riverside Rd, Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8HY on
Bank Holiday Monday 31st May 2010, choir rehearsal begin at 10am.
